The claimed invention relates to methods and systems for routing connections. The method for routing connections, which includes the use of a system comprising a switching unit that is connected to telecommunications networks and performs the switching of a voice call from a caller device to a user device related to a delivery address, additionally involves the use of a personal settings storage unit and a service logic unit which are interconnected, the latter also being connected to the switching unit, and a personal settings control unit connected to telecommunications networks and to the personal settings storage unit, wherein the user is additionally assigned a unique identifier for association with a delivery address, and voice calls are switched by the initial rejection of an incoming call followed by, in response to a control signal from the service logic unit, the blocking of the connection or the subsequent generation of calls to the caller device and to a device related to an active delivery address, and the establishment of a connection between said devices.
